Elaeocarpus reticulatus Prima Donna

The Prima Donna lives up to its name — a graceful native tree smothered in fringed, soft pink bell-shaped flowers each spring, with a sweet delicate fragrance. Deep blue berries follow, beloved by birds. Bronze new growth matures to rich glossy green. Grows 7–9m tall x 3–4m wide in a neat, slender habit. Suits feature planting, screening, avenue plantings, and cottage gardens. Best in full sun to part shade in well-drained, fertile soil. Frost tender when young.
